Run Pheasant Run

Hailing from Brevard, NC, Run Pheasant Run is a five-piece crowd pleaser that brings a powerful, homegrown sound to the stage. Rooted in Southern Appalachian rock and roll, their songwriting is engaging and incredibly dynamic, taking listeners on an unforgettable journey as they interweave elements of soul, funk, country, and blues. Their live performances are full of energy, heart, and spontaneous moments that make every show one-of-a-kind. While the band has just recently formed, the hype is real! After a few rehearsals, they quickly realized they had struck gold and decided to hit the studio. Released in November, 2025, their high-energy breakout single, “Come Back Again”, is keeping rock and roll alive, while their recently released "Cold Shoulders" showcases the band's raw talent and versatility. 
 

Run Pheasant Run is led by singer-songwriter Devin Gentry (Lead Vocals, Guitar), who's smooth yet gritty vocals pair perfectly with the creative talents of Kris Kolenut (Guitar), Matt Faircloth (Lap Steel, Fiddle, Mandolin, Supporting Vocals), JT Linville (Bass), and Alex Santeiro (Drums, Supporting Vocals). 

Shows are often a vibrant experience with Joey Ennis of Laser Bear Illumination enhancing the vibe. Staples in the local music scene, Run Pheasant Run band members often gig and record with other projects and unique collaborations including Free State of Mind, Lazy Rooster, The Pisgah Playboys, and Crystal Fountains. 

Capturing the spirit of the mountains, rivers, and relationships that surround them, Run Pheasant Run is a brotherhood that grows stronger with each played note. The project is building some serious momentum as they book live shows and schedule more studio time with recording and mixing engineer, Derek Studt, who also co-produces with the band.
